Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Sacrescent. By using the platform you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@sacrescent.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Sacrescent authenticates every fragrance before sale. We stand behind the authenticity of items sold on the platform. If an item you receive is not authentic, we will provide a full refund per our Returns & Refunds policy.

Authentication is performed by trained Sacrescent personnel using documented standards. Our judgment is final, except where obvious error can be demonstrated.

Consignors using Sacrescent agree to:

• Submit only items they own and have the right to sell
• Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and provenance
• Ship submitted items to Sacrescent in their original condition for authentication
• Comply with all applicable laws including hazmat (ORM-D) shipping rules for fragrances

Sacrescent reserves the right to reject any submission that fails authentication, condition, or compliance review. Rejected items are returned to the consignor.

Prices are listed in US dollars and include applicable taxes where shown. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments at checkout. Sacrescent is the merchant of record. Consignors are paid out per the terms of the Consignor Agreement.

We ship within the continental United States only. Fragrance shipments are restricted to ground-only delivery in compliance with US Department of Transportation hazmat regulations (ORM-D / limited quantity). International shipping, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are not available at this time.

Returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds policy. That document is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Sacrescent name, logo, design, photography, and editorial copy are owned by Sacrescent. Brand names and trademarks of fragrance houses listed on the platform belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement.

You may not:

• Submit counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented items
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with the platform’s operation or security
• Scrape or systematically extract data from the platform
• Impersonate another person or entity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacrescent’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Sacrescent in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved under the laws of the State of California, in the courts of California. (TODO: consider arbitration clause + class-action waiver — attorney recommended.)

We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
